Esprit 2010 will be held in Port Angeles in May. The Cornbury Society is one of the three clubs that helps put on this convention and we have been a part since Esprit’s inception in 1990. Each club is allowed three representatives plus the president (automatically included). At this time Cornbury only has 2 reps and hence we need two members to step up. I challenge you to take on one of these positions!
Some background information includes:
1. There are three more meetings before the convention in May. Two meetings occur in Ballard (near Seattle) and the third occurs in Port Angeles (the precon). The Ballard meetings are 1 day whereas the the precon is a whole day in Port Angeles (makes for a long weekend)
2. You will need a passport
3. Fees for committee members are reduced in exchange for the work we do
4. If it is your first time on the Committee most likely you will be assigned a minor task. Other Committee members are always willing to help if you need it.
This is an opportunity for you to challenge yourself. It is also an opportunity for you to be in service to others and help them through a tough time in their lives. If you have questions please contact Stephanie Mitchell (info@cornbury.org) or myself (jacqueline_allan@yahoo.com).
Make a difference in someone’s life.
Thank you.
